Hypsiboas balzani
This Hylid frog is found in the Yungas region, between 1500 - 2200 m asl. The species typically breeds in slow flowing rivulets.

Ceratophrys cranwelli
Some species of frogs, like this Ceratophrys cranwelli, are only active after the first heavy rains every year. The distribution of this species are the Pantanal and Chaco regions.
